Who was the client?
Peanut & Pickle are a natural canine skincare brand which recognises the need for high-quality dog grooming products. From small beginnings in their garage to becoming a global business they have grown from strength to strength, building a full range of products for skin and fur that are vegan and cruelty-free.
The Peanut & Pickle team have always stuck to their core values of creating handmade products to an exceptional standard, consistently delivering products they believe in.
From a small rural town in Cheshire, they’re now taking on the world and attending internationally renowned events such as Crufts and Superzoo.
What was the brief?
With all the growing interest from boutiques globally, Peanut & Pickle realised they needed displays that would match the same quality they demanded of their products.
They approached UK POS with the task of, not only providing sturdy point of sale displays suitable for use within high traffic areas, but also to use our wealth of knowledge to help maintain the luxury and premium quality feel of the Peanut & Pickle brand.
The key requirements included:
- Add a premium feel to the display
- Make Peanut & Pickle products the star of the show
- Maintain their strong brand identity
- Be easy to clean due to the environments they’re used in (i.e. dog grooming salons)
What challenges did we face?
While Peanut & Pickle were inspired by other point of sale displays they had seen in retail environments, there was little in the way of existing POS displays in their industry to base designs on. It was important for us to invest the time in meetings in order to:
- Understand who they are
- Get a feel for what they wanted
- Refine their ideas
We listened carefully to what their brand values were, and their vision for the final product. We were then better placed to make this a reality and deliver something that they would feel proud to display their products on.
Our design team composed drawings to be approved by the customer. We then made detailed prototypes to ensure the effectiveness of the design. After this, the project was rolled out to full production, and the units were created.
The result? A very happy customer!
We used our experience with luxury cosmetics brands in order to provide a product that would reflect the brand’s identity as a luxury dog grooming company.
As a result, we created a high-quality product glorifier stand with a branded header, with a design to match the Peanut & Pickle aesthetic.
This proved to be so successful that we were subsequently asked to design two further unique stands to suit other products in their range too.
We also supplied printed acrylic blocks and further prototype stands for their international events such as Crufts and Superzoo.
All the displays we’ve created have a cohesive and complementary look.
