Conforming to EN13501-1 Class B s1 d0, this fire rated snap frame uses a stylish aluminium frame and a galvanized steel back panel to make it fire retardant and is fitted with a fire resistant anti-glare cover.
How does this heavy duty snap frame differ from the regular versions?
Our heavy duty snap frame uses the same attractive aluminium frame as other models but has a tough galvanised steel back panel, a rigid rear aluminium outer frame and a thicker anti-glare APET poster cover. This heavy duty snap frame is ideal for schools, hospitals, public and commercial buildings who need fire resistant snap frames to display messages, information and graphics.
What fire rating does this snap frame have?
This fire retardant snap frame is tested to comply with the EN13501-1 Class B s1 d0 fire classification and B1 rated for German DIN standards, which means it resists the spread of fire. It has the highest smoke classification of s1 and the highest d0 level of performance for resistance to flaming droplets.
How do I install this heavy duty snap frame?
To comply with fire regulations our heavy duty snap frame needs to be screwed to your wall or door. There are four screw holes in the rear edges of the frame making this quick and easy to install. Screws are not supplied with this unit.
