How does an infrared thermometer work?
Check the body temperature of visitors to your business premises in a safe way by using the Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer. This digital thermometer has a bright LCD display, is powered by 2 x AAA batteries (not included), and is easy to operate. Simply point your temperature gun at a forehead and push the button with the trigger ignition to record the temperature.
What is the digital infrared thermometer range?
The digital thermometer can record temperatures when it is within 3 - 5cm away from the target. It is able to accurately record body temperatures between 32˚C to 42.5˚C, with a small margin of error of ±0.2˚C. It can also be used to measure surface temperatures between 0˚C to 60˚C. Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit using the controls on the side of the unit.
Where can I use this non-contact temperature gun?
This non-contact thermometer is ideal for use in hospitality settings, such as pubs, restaurants and cafes, as it allows you to safely record the body temperature of your customers while maintaining a social distance and not making any physical contact. If you detect that a customer has a fever or a high temperature, then you can decline them entry onto your premises in order to keep other customers and staff members safe, therefore breaking the potential chain of infection.
