What is the A frame chalkboard made of?
This blackboard pavement sign is made from solid 4cm x 2cm thick wood with fixed MDF back panels. It has a melamine laminate front and steel hinges which add extra stability.
Is the chalkboard sandwich board frame weatherproof?
Yes, the wooden pavement sign is designed to withstand normal weather conditions. However, it may be affected by strong winds or adverse weather conditions. While you can use standard chalk sticks, we recommend using our Liquid Chalk Pens to write on the chalkboard. They will become waterproof after just one hour.
What is the finish on the wood?

I was really impressed from the moment I opened the box - the chalkboard has a great weight to it, the quality is superb. The black surface is perfect for drawing on with chalk markers and cleans off really well when you want to change design. Really happy with this purchase.
