Fashion retailer Monsoon has confirmed that the modernisation of two of its stores has been completed, with the chain looking to continue its recent renewal.
In partnership with construction services firm ISG, Monsoon’s flagship outlet on London’s Oxford Street was refurbished with an entirely new look within the space of five weeks. The revamp is intended to emphasise the brand’s history.
ISG also oversaw the development of the new 11,000 sq ft Monsoon Accessorize outlet at Westfield Stratford City in east London. The retailer is understood to consider the shop a particularly important asset due to its closeness to the nearby Olympic Park.
“Our continuing working relationship with Monsoon Accessorize recognises ISG’s capability to consistently deliver high specification fit-out and refurbishment solutions across the UK,” said Kevin Dengate, ISG’s director of retail banking and shopfitting. “Our recent completions at two of Monsoon Accessorize’s most high profile locations have set an incredibly high standard.”
A survey recently conducted by e-commerce consultant Venuescore named Westfield Stratford City as Britain’s sixth best shopping centre, although it is expected to rise up the table as new retailers take up residency at the site.
