Leading supermarket chain Morrisons is to rebrand its own range of products, beginning with the introduction of a new selection of convenience foods.
Up to 11,000 improved or brand new items will appear in stores from next week, in a shake-up of Morrisons' current offering.
The new food range will be named M Kitchen after a professional working kitchen at the company's headquarters, where recipes will be developed.
Morrisons commercial director Richard Hodgson said: "The launch of M Kitchen is a huge step forward for Morrisons, creating a range of products that customers will literally want to cross the road to buy: making Morrisons a destination for dining in.
"This relaunch is the biggest review of our products that we have ever conducted and we are thrilled to be offering our customers such an amazing and delicious choice."
The range includes 150 new lines, featuring Pan Asian, European and bistro-style dishes - and 500 more products will be improved.
