Electrical retailer Richer Sounds has won the accolade of Best High Street Retailer at consumer publication Which?’s 2011 awards. 

Achieving an overall Which? customer score of 86 per cent, the store beat off competition to take the top honour for the second year running.

Also recognised for their efforts were Waitrose, named Best Supermarket; and Lizearle.com, which won Best Online Retailer. 

Which? chief executive Peter Vicary-Smith said: "To win a Which? Award, not only must a company offer outstanding products or services, it must also deliver exceptional value and a great customer experience. This is especially important at a time when consumers are really feeling the pinch.”

One element which can help contribute to a great customer experience is a shop's presentation of its products. Well-chosen display supports can make it much easier to display what is on offer to its best advantage.
