Clothing retailer Asos has announced it is on target to take £1bn in sales in 2015.
Growth in international markets helped the company boost its takings in the 12 months to March 31, according to the firm’s final results. Revenue was up 52 per cent to £339.7m.
Retail sales in the UK rose by 25 per year-on-year during the period to £184m, while international sales grew by 142 per cent to £140m.
The company has looked to engage more with customers in other markets by launching websites in the USA, France and Germany.
Along with the use of advertising to attract customers, Asos has also developed a Facebook store and a mobile site in a bid to keep up with new technologies.
Nick Robertson, chief executive, said: "We have continued our investment programme to meet anticipated growth targets. Key to this is the ongoing transition to a new 530,000 sq ft warehouse in Barnsley, which will be fully operational by June 2011.
"We remain positive in our outlook for 2012 and are excited by the opportunities for both our UK and international businesses."
